Lately, my hobby has been driving. Open road, blue sky (no, actually narrow mountain roads and very often overcast skies), music, and coffee. Camera in hand.

For weeks, I’ve been wondering who she is. She comes in once a week, usually Wednesdays, but I’m not always in the staff room so perhaps, it’s more often.

It rains a lot here. Sometimes, there are entire weeks where it pours every day or if not, clouds fill the sky. It scares me a bit because the last few winters, I found myself down in the cold months.

“Zen. Alive. Fukui.” It’s Fukui’s tagline, a marketing one-liner for the western prefecture on the Sea of Japan.

It has been laughs on laughs on laughs. You and I, we don’t click yet. We’re both trying but it’s not there.
